Drs. Edward Kuan (rhinology), Hamid Djalilian (otology), Harrison Lin (otology), and Rush rhinologist Dr. Bobby Tajudeen, working with Springer, have published a textbook titled Skull Base Reconstruction: Management of Cerebrospinal Fluid Leaks and Skull Base Defects in July 2023. As co-editors, they assembled a world-class, multidisciplinary author team to provide a one-stop resource for skull base reconstruction and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak repair intended for otolaryngologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, trauma specialists, and trainees.

Aside from the editors, within the otolaryngology department, Drs. Tjoson Tjoa (head and neck surgery), Yarah Haidar (head and neck surgery), and Mehdi Abouzari (otology/research) also contributed chapters to the book.
