Statement on Sinonasal Tumors
The International Consensus Statement on Allergy and Rhinology (ICAR): Sinonasal Tumors (ICSNT)–a large-scale, fully evidence-based, comprehensive, multidisciplinary, international compendium of core topics surrounding sinonasal masses, tumors, and cancers–was recently published in International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology, with Dr. Edward Kuan as primary author and editor. ICSNT, like other ICAR documents, is commissioned by the American Rhinologic Society and serves as a landmark piece on a particular topic of interest in the field of rhinology and skull base surgery. The 460-page document contains more than 2,220 references and covers 48 broad topics across 4 sections, and was made possible by a joint effort of nearly 200 authors spanning rhinologists, head and neck surgeons, pediatric otolaryngologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and neurosurgeons representing 20 countries.
