Dr. Tasha Nasrollahi, PGY-2 received an Association of Migraine Disorders Resident Research Grant under the mentorship of Dr. Mehdi Abouzari. AMD offers one-year grants to any otolaryngology residents conducting a research project that is related to improving our understanding of migraine variants. To date, there are few randomized controlled trials for treatment of vestibular migraine (VM), posing a challenge for practitioners in offering evidence-based recommendations to patients. In this clinical trial, she will explore the efficacy of a migraine medication combination in a stepwise approach, using validated questionnaires to assess VM patient response.
