In June 2025, Dr. Brian Wong hosted the sixth UC Irvine Rhinoplasty Course in collaboration with the California Pacific Society for Facial Plastic Surgery, which co-located its Aging Face Course at the same venue. The event brought together over 150 attendees and featured a world-class rhinoplasty faculty, with both speakers and participants joining from across the country and around the globe. This marked the first time since the pandemic that facial plastic surgery faculty and program directors from across the West Coast gathered in person at a local event.

The guest of honor was Dr. Roxana Cobo from Cali, Colombia, who also delivered the graduation address for the department’s residents.
