U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Office of Research & Development has awarded a $1.2M grant to Dr. Wei Dong, enabling support for our lab members through IPA mechanisms until the end of 2029. The award, for “Real-Time Structure and Function Assessments of Human Ears using Optical Coherence Tomography,” will allow us to advance our research on the application of optical coherence tomography in human subjects. We are delighted to have our residents participate in this project, which involves validation studies using human temporal bones as well as research involving living subjects.
